Description
Poppies in Cia's Garden in the summer of 2019. I had stopped by her place for some odd reason and saw these poppies swaying in the breeze and they looked so splendid , so rich was their color red, I couldn't even begin to capture them on my canvas. I just had to come home and paint them. I used the photograph I took as a slight reference but created the painting so it would have an abstract component to it. It's a shame we get to see them just once a year so I decided to capture their beauty on my canvas with a little twist! I hope they make you as happy as they make me feel! I think I need to paint a Poppies series. Will definitely go out to her garden in 2020 to do just that!
