Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

Artist's Description

This is a mixed media effort. I think I need to show more of the mixed media I have used and not cover it with paint so much. However, I love the texture it has created. The photograph of the artwork is a bit shiny so I will have to rectify that at a later date.

The photograph does not do it justice. I love how it turned out.

I used acrylic paints, newspaper and photographs etc to make it a mixed media experiment. It may develop another life if it is not taken off my wall soon. It has several layers of acrylic paint and I used, palette knives, squeegees and masonry trowels to spread the paint around. I was trying to study the interaction of colors on the canvas and I guess I used a bit too much paint so my paper collage is kind of hidden out of sight! Even though it is a painting done in red it is a muted version of the color.

About Hyacinth Paul

Hyacinth Paul

Dr. Hyacinth Paul is a retired scientist and Professor who recently started her career as an artist. Her works are both abstract and realistic, mostly done in oil, acrylics and mixed media. Her paintings are very colorful because she believes color sparks synesthesia and involuntarily evokes feelings of joy. Her paintings using the method of the old masters technique take several weeks to complete. Her abstracts are opinions and thoughts she is trying to communicate through her colorful canvas. She has just completed over 58 works in the 58th year of her life. Within the last year, Dr. Paul has exhibited in more than 10 solo/group exhibitions. She entered three juried shows as of last month and was accepted into a couple from which...
