Repose in Blue are a a set of panels done to experiment with new textures on canvas. I am happy with the results. These paintings are fit for a spa or a bedroom for a peaceful atmosphere. I made this earlier this year. It is made with acrylic paints and different media to increase the textural surface of the canvas.



Repose in Blue I was done created using brush strokes. I was quite happy with the results. The photograph depicted here do not do justice to the beauty of the painting itself. It is beautiful as a set. I generally like doing large paintings so when my canvases are small I tend to make a series of them together so they can occupy a considerable space on an empty wall. One of the mistakes people make in decorating is to put a very small painting in a large space. My advice is to group smaller paintings together so they are pleasing to the eye and the impact they make will be sharp. Nothing wrong in buying a small painting though! By all means buy small if you love a painting, just find a nook where the painting will shine. Put it at eye level. Group it with other things like a clock or a a memento. Move it around till it finds it happy place.
